Spring Symposium of the American Thyroid Association

Research Summit Program

Research Summit
Marriott Metro Center, Washington, DC
Thursday, March 27, 2008

The summit will bring together scientists in the Thyroid and metabolism community and officials of the NIDDK with the goal of fostering research in the areas related to thyroid hormone and its effects on metabolic control. The format will include presentations and discussions by scientists working in this area. Presentations will focus on emerging and relevant areas of thyroid and metabolic pathophysiology that will directly benefit from NIDDK funding.

GOAL: To provide information and updates on the current state-of-the-art of research in thyroid hormones and metabolic control.
