ATA Research Grants

The ATA is committed to supporting research into better ways to diagnose and treat thyroid disease. The generosity of members, patients, industry, and donors in the workplace has enabled the ATA to award 59 thyroid research grants totaling $1,530,000 since the inception of the Research Fund.

ThyCA: Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association, Inc. has provided funding in support of 35special research grants totaling $961,250 focused on thyroid cancer and medullary thyroid cancer since 2003. ThyCA is supporting 3 research grants in 2012 and 3 renewing grants. ThyCA is a member of the ATA Alliance for Patient Education.

Thyroid Head and Neck Cancer Foundation (THANC) has funded sixteen grants for a total $460,000.
