Target Audience 

With attendance of nearly 1,300 healthcare professionals, the 87th Annual Meeting of the ATA will bring together top researchers and practitioners in thyroidology with interests in the fields of endocrinology, oncology, nuclear medicine, internal medicine, surgery, pathology, cytology, biology and related areas.

Educational Design

The 87th Annual Meeting of the ATA will feature innovative talks on clinically relevant topics, “discussion/ debate” workshops, interactive sessions, state-of-the-art presentations and unparalleled collegiality in a multidisciplinary setting. Upon completion of this conference participants should be able to:

–Describe state-of-the-art findings on the mechanisms, prevention, diagnosis and management of thyroid disorders and cancer

–Implement the latest clinical management guidelines to benefit patient care and the expertise of the clinician in practice

–Describe the impact of health policy, environmental factors, genetic factors and non-thyroidal conditions on thyroid disorders and cancer

–Apply new treatment options for thyroid disorders and cancer in patient care

–Identify opportunities for increasing education and international collaboration to further understand thyroid disorders, thyroid cancer and managing patient care
