Dr. William B. Inabnet will transition from his role as Editor-in-Chief of VideoEndocrinology(TM) in December 2021. We are now inviting applications for a new Editor-in-Chief for an initial 5-year term, starting in 2022,with preparatory work starting in Fall 2021.

We are seeking a tech-savvy and diplomatic Editor-in-Chief for VideoEndocrinology who will continue to enhance the journal’s reputation and growth.

The applicant must be a respected investigator who is innovative, energetic, and aware of trends in peer reviewed scientific journals with the ability to recruit high-caliber videos demonstrating the latest technology, techniques and research. The Committee seeks an individual who will expand the reach of the journal and increase the number and types of submissions.  A willingness to work collaboratively to ensure that the journal meets the goals of both the ATA and the Publisher will be required.

Interested individuals should submit the following documents

  • A curriculum vitae;
  • A video addressing interest and qualifications (5 minutes or less) including addressing how you will accommodate the time demands of editing the journal;
  • A letter of support from your institution;
  • A video stating your vision (5 minutes or less) detailing priorities for VideoEndocrinology and how you will have a positive impact on expanding the journal’s global reach and gravitas; and
  • A financial and editorial Conflict of Interest disclosure.  Please include any relevant leadership positions with other societies and/or editorial positions.

Timeline

  • March 1, 2021 – Completed application packets submitted to Sharleene Cano, Director of Publications
  • March – April 2021 – Candidate interviews
  • May 2021 – Editor-in-Chief Selection
