ATA Board of Directors Nomination Form
ATA is seeking candidates to join its Board of Directors. Newly-elected members will join the ATA leadership team after the 2025 ATA Annual Meeting on September 10-14, 2025 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The positions filled will be:
- 1 President-elect (3-year term)
- 2 Adult Endocrinologist Director (3-year term)
- 1 Endocrine Surgeon (3-year term)
- 2 Trainee Observers (1-year term)

Nominate a colleague or self-nominate by March 31, 2025.
Requirements
The basic requirements for Board service are:
President-elect
- Served previously as a member of the Board of Directors
- Minimum of five (5) years active ATA membership
- Attend a minimum of five (5) ATA Annual Meetings in the last 10 years
Director Candidates
- Minimum of five (5) years active ATA membership
- Attend a minimum of five (5) ATA Annual Meetings in the last ten (10) years
- Served as an ATA committee members for a three (3)-year term
Trainee Observers
The Nominating Committee will identify two trainees to be appointed to one-year roles as nonvoting observers on the Board of Directors. These roles will provide mentorship opportunities for trainees and bring important voices and perspectives to the Board of Directors.

Time Commitment
All Board members will be required to participate in monthly videoconferences and serve as a committee liaison as detailed in the ATA Policies and Procedures. Nominees are asked to review the Board job descriptions in the ATA Policies and Procedures here to ensure you are able to make the commitment to serve.
Nomination Process
- Complete the nomination form and questions regarding the nominee’s competencies below to recommend a colleague by March 31, 2025.
- Please discuss the nomination with the candidate before submitting the form so you can determine their interest and willingness to serve. They will need to complete the Nominee Form by March 31, 2025.
- Completed candidate nominations and nominee forms are due on March 31, 2025.

- The Nominations Committee will review all nominations received to determine the slate of candidates that will be presented to the membership.
